Can someone chime in on this and tell me if I'm being too specific;
I was wondering why some people use the term .45 long colt, when no ammunition manufacturer uses it on the ammo boxes. I thought it was .45 colt, period! as opposed to .45 ACP. Is there a .45 short colt? How do these things get started, and shouldn't you use the term that is consistent with the manufacturers?
