I have just gotten an old Sears and Roebuck J.C Higgins model 101.1 in .410 bore. The gun looks like a Savage model made for sears. It has the model 101.1 on the left side and on the lower right side of receiver is -94B- and a 20A with a circle around it. It doesnt have a serial number anywhere. I have a Savage 220A and this thing is almost exact except for the hammer and the plastic wood grain stock and forearm. Can anyone help me as to what savage model this might be?
