It has a name as well, the "Combat Magnum". I had a 6" M66 (stainless) and it drove tacks. Just don't beat it up with too many magnums, 38s are fine for the range. Shooting to many hot loads it your "K" frame at paper is like plowing fields with your race horse. It's not a heavy duty 357 but you already know that by the light well balanced feel of it.

The pin runs through the threaded part of the barrel and the treaded hole in the frame to lock it in position when the bullet which is fighting the rifleing trys to twist it. The "T"s I assumme are target sights, trigger and hammer.
