I don't use a tumbler, I put all my cases in a plastic container full of white vinegar for about 30 min with regular shaking, rinse thoroughly with water and either set them out to dry or pop them in the oven at the lowest temp for 30-40 min. It takes longer than a tumbler but removes all fouling. This is for pistol brass though. Still could be worth a shot?
