Good luck on the new grips. Are you aware that the .22 Magnum round is longer than .45 ACP, so this pistol has a different receive with a mag well that's longer front-to-back than other 1911s? Standard grips may go on, but they won't look right. If you want to do it -- try before you buy.

I want one of those, but I still wonder if the .22 Magnum might have enough Moxie to operate a standard slide rather than needing to carve off the top like they do for their .22 LR model.
