Happy, plenty of Swiss misinformation still abounds. Of the .304" dia rumor, even old Big Lee's SwissRifles.com site ,along with others, has with a reference to .304" diameter bullets and corrosive primers in the GP-90 series of ammunitions and is guilty of the rumor propagation. The Swiss never used corrosive(perchlorate) primers. The word should have been erosive not corrosive. And they never had a .304" projectile for their ammo. Inaccurate caliper readings of Swiss projectiles while still in their case and inaccurate bore reading of a 3 grooved rifle 1889 barrel may also have helped to keep these flames smouldering.
