The Firing Line Forums - View Single Post - No priviliges to post "For Sale Ads" until "X" number of posts

I know other forums do this, have you considered not allowing new members to post in the for sale section until they attain a certain number of posts? Typically I have seen this number as 50-70. I would think this would limit a lot of scammers.
