Do NOT store them in any kind of plush case or rug. Store them in open air. Any type of fabric or foam or leather can absorb moisture from the air and start corrosion. Apply a thin film of oil on all exposed metal and check on them every week or two. In your case I would get some thin rubber or vinyl mats (cheap car floor mats or welcome mats work) and line the shelves with that and lay the guns on it. Remember that if you open the safe up on a humid day if you close it you are trapping moisture in the safe. I have always used large dessicant packs on the floor of my safe with no problems. About once a year pull them out and lay them in a warm oven for a few hours to reactivate them. In over twenty years I have never had any corrosion.
