If it is 3-gun, an AR pistol will not likely count as a rifle, an SBR will not likley be competitive. AKs are notably not as accurate at distance. If you really shoot, you will reload unless you are really rich. .223 has IMHO, the better options for that as well.
Buy once - cry once. I have boxes of optics, holsters and parts that were replaced by what I should have gotten in the first place.
