I have 2 in my inventory that were factory refurbs. Other than being second generation (these are probably out of the system by now), they looked new. Niether came with night sights. I added those later. As far as sprucing up the frame goes, there's not much they can do other than smoothing out any scratches. They do go over the gun and update everything.
