Try AA#5 for both if you want good moderate loads. I'm just re-discovering it myself for .357,.45 and .44mag. Accurate powder is often a great deal. #2 is more like Bullseye or WW231, a faster burning target load powder. It doesn't burn slow enough to get the higher velocities that #5 can, but it produces some great target loads. If you want hot loads (.45+p and hot 10mm) try Alliant Power pistol.
