I also like the Night Fighter II and the TL-2 very much, mine have strips of velcro that couple with the ones I have sewed in several caps.(Caps that I have around the house and in the cars)

You can keep the light there for the entire duration of the encounter, or use the cap location when you need to change magazines, in any case is a handy place to put the light when you need to use your two hands.
