On the subject of loading stands....the muzzle is vaguely pointed at my head. I'm not telling you fellas what to do and yes I know full well you cap it later.
But I remove my cylinder and load it while it's out of the revolver. I just can't quite seem to get over almost looking down the barrel of my revolver as I load it. For me, having the end with the hole in it pointed
away from my head is just too ingrained to use a loading stand no matter how safe
