While it is an interesting read, and in fact embodies some points that I agree with, Dr Kaiser has denied writing the above piece, according to a recent note found in Wikipedia. Of course, Wikipedia is not necessarily accurate, either.
You'll have to decide for yourselves whether that makes any difference to you. I feel that sticking it with a false attribution undermines the essay significantly.
