You can't see images? Do you see a link or nothing at all?
If you see a link, are you browsing over https? If you are, and the image link is NOT https, note that the vbulletin code at TFL has been modified to show a link to the image rather than embedding it under those conditions. This is because embedding non-https images on https pages will at best generate warnings (like a different icon where the url bar's ssl icon normally is), and at worst will silently refuse to load those insecure resources (images/css/js).
In chrome, ctrl+shift+i and the console tab shows some types of content loading errors.
