Im also testing loads/bullets for my new 22-250 also. I tried the 55 gr. Hornady FMJ just to try because I load alot of 55 grainers for 223's but for my 22-250 and its twist rate. Lilja recommends a 50-52 grain bullet. with the 55 grainer I could at best get a 7/8 inch grouping and that was it. So now am waiting on a box of 50's from mail from Midway. Also trying Varget since I load so much of it and also gonna try 4064 and settle on the best accuracy on what my rifle thinks. also good luck to ya
