What kind of ammo were you shooting, i.e. reloads, +P+, etc.? Some manuals may explicitly state "not safe w/ "X" kind of ammo", so it's possible that if you were trying to shoot something like +P+, you might be on your own. But if you were using regular loads, BUSA should definitely fix it I would think. I would thoroughly read your owner's manual & maybe check the Beretta website, and then go about getting it fixed under warranty, especially if you bought it brand spankin' new from a gun shop or other dealer.
