I looked at one the other day and it looks nice. It uses dpms magazines. Nice rifle with freefloat aluminum forearm. I held one next to an Armalite and I was surprised at how light it was compared to the AR-10. They both had the same barrel length but the AR-10 is easily 3/4 lbs heavier. The AR-10 frame looks more substantial than the remington/dpms. so if you do not want the weight the remington is the way to go.
