thanks for the heat tip. Not TOO worried about my AR handguards or mags since they can easily be replaced, but I had horrible visions flashing through my head of getting things just right on a piece of junk plastic, and then turning my project into a $500 mistake on an actual pistol!

I'll be sure to post pics!

I'm thinking since my AR has MOE handguards, maybe trying something like a diagonal industrial stripe pattern.... we'll see where this whole project takes me.

is there any heat range you'd recommend?
