I had my local automobile engine shop machinist cut a barrel down for me. This guy took all of 20 minutes total, longest time spent was the effort in placing the barrel in the vertical mill vise to not scratch it-----$25. Caution::::::Remember the minimum overall length of the gun. I added a 1/2" to the overall length of mine to remove any possible length question(s) by the authorities if ever questioned.
