I didn't plan it this way, but I've got a wider variety of .22's in my humble armory than any other single type or caliber. I only have one SA .22, an earlier Ruger 10-22, no silly "Read the Manual) inscription. A competent fellow worked the trigger over for me, and after several cheap scopes, I put a Leupold Rimfire 4x on top. The Ruger's main attribute is that it is reliable. It just spits them out, and I have had no trouble with any brand of ammo or bullet profile.
Funny thing though, I don't shoot that rifle very much anymore. It's bolt action brother gets most all the use.
