The link Corrections Cop posted defining First Responders.....refers to "
Certified First Responders". There's a lot of us out here that have had first aid, medical, survival, firearm, and other training that can be of service without a certificate of authenticity or license.
The term "First Responder" as the OP pointed out is appropriate.
