CMP sold a bunch of 44 US Mossbergs 10-12 yrs ago or so, fair price but no mag. That is the last I've seen sold in quantity.

As noted the trigger on mine is pretty rough.

I read somewhere that Mossberg spent some extra time lapping the barrels, don't have a source for that.

Ours is known as the "gong rifle" and gets shot almost exclusively at the 125 yd disk across the field from the house.
