I own two 9mm 1911s.
If you can't spring for a $1,ooo+ unaltered 9mm Colt 1911 I'd pass.
1911s deserve to be in 45acp, and if not...then it better be perfect, otherwise you might not be too happy.
Shooting a 9mm 1911 is like driving a 1979 Trans Am with a 4 cylinder gas saver engine. As long as its parked with the hood closed you're okay.
