I agree and currently appendiceal IWB a 3.75" birdshead New Vaquero. As Wheelman has already pointed out the trick is to get it riding high enough.

I do fine with my cylinder right behind my belt with just the grip sticking above my wasit line, but it is one of those just barely if I wear the right clothes and don't have to bend over for anything. I can kneel just fine, drive a stick shift no problem, but bending over at the waist to say pick up a ten dollar bill without gouging myself in the thigh is a problem.
