Gotta chuckle at the idea that the .243 is horrible looking. Horrible or not, I've put tags on a couple of dozen bucks with mine. But, gotta admit that I'd rather eat deer meat than worry about "purty".

I've been messing with ARs for some thirty years, now. I don't see it as all that wondrous a platform as a hunting rifle, for all that I have one for a truck gun.

I want the have the Hand guard rail system, I'd perfer the the 243 caliber however i havent found one with that adaptable with the knights armament hand guards. basically i want a rifle i can do CQB (close quarters battle) and take out to hunt with. I have plenty if other rifles i just want the best of both worlds i guess.
