Just bought my first centerfire revolver. It was originally purchased by the U.S.A.F. for their Office of Special Investagations. 'OSI' is stamped on the left side under the cylinder. It is the three screw frame with serial number, 5J7639. I think the trigger may be aftermarket, the curved part is the same width as the trigger guard and serated. I'd like to know the age and any other thing to be said. I am not a collector. I was looking for a lighter carry piece and always wanted a J frame. Thanks to any and all. I hope this is of interest to the folks here.
