Budsboy,

.30-06 has a 35° shoulder, while the .308 has a 40° shoulder, so it is not just a shortened .30-06. Additionally, the taper of the sides are different, too. So, the two dies are not the same shape in the critical headspace determining area. It is not a compatible combination.

Lee, and, I think maybe Redding make universal decapping dies. Get one of these.
