Huge +1 to Rivers West
My hunting buddy has short hair, but hates to be inside the house. Over the last few years I've gone through several different dog coats, just got this one, the Rivers West Pointer Vest. If you have a short haired dog with a pointer style body, I highly recommend it!
First, let me say, their customer service is excellent. I initially ordered a large, it didn't fit (my fault). I called them on Monday-they immediately sent me out a XL, without even getting the large back first--at no charge. I got the XL yesterday! (Thursday)
The vest fits great, quality is top notch, and I really like the top zipper/Velcro closure. It even has extra flaps so the zipper never contacts his fur and is still sealed from the elements. We'll see how it holds up, but initial quality is outstanding.
