In terms of you application, it really doesn't matter. You can't get a cheek-weld in a paintball mask. I played heavily for 10 years, and used a few very low magnification scopes (Beeman SS-3) or red-dot sights.
In paintball, the low velocity/rainbow-like trajectory will magnify any "cant" ( leaning the gun) and cause you to miss.
My suggestion play more/accessorize less.
