IMHO, second strike is largely irrelevant. In all the ammo I have ever fired, pistol, revolver, rifle, shotgun, including 40-50+ year old Milsurp ammo, I have had exactly
one failure to fire.
Feeding, extraction, ejection, premature slide lockback or failure to lock back, cylinder seizure or flop-open....yes, yes, and more yes.
Guess which types of malfunctions I practice?
