Mainly, I have shot and cleaned mine. The only mods I've done was to file the sharp corner edges on the the front sight because it would tear holes in my pants when I carried it. Also, I used some blue loc-tite on the rear sight because it would drift a little sometimes.

I had a short trigger installed in my wife's 1911 because it is easier for her to reach with her small hands.
