Milling it out to just a solid base single groove didn't even cross the mind yet---
Guess that's why I rely on the cumulative genius here---yes, that would be much preferred. The weight difference should balance also--I think I remember the GC's come in at 4.4 grains. Yes--it's a 2-cav. The trick will be in shaving the top plane of the mold uniform across both cavities, but I think I have that figured out.
