The movie is called "Exposure" starring Peter Coyote. While the "X" strike is a universal strike in ESKRIMA/KALI/ARNIS.....there is more to it then what is shown in the movie. Footwork, timing, and various angles are just some of the training methods involved. Another movie you might be interested in is called "Timebomb" with Michael Beihn. There's a lot of gun/knife fighting in that movie. And the actors were actually trained, by ex-special forces operative, on how to knife-fight and shoot. Hope that helps.
