I made a bit of a run and went to three different gun shops this weekend: Results as follows:

Shop #1: Availability of non colt AR's was good, prices 200-300 higher than before the insanity. STILL no 9MM target ammo, very very limited 9MM hollow point ammo, all other ammo was there but expensive with limits of what you can buy.

Non 1911's were in short supply in the semi auto pistol cases.

Shop #2: Had a good mix of AR's available, even a Colt LE6920 for $1250! WOH! Ammo was up but available

Shop #3: Had a LOT of AR's available for $100-$200 above pre-insanity prices. Plenty of all types of ammo for about 1.75-2 times what it was 6 months ago but only had Hollow Point 9MM ammo @ about $40.00/50 rounds

In conclusion
9MM ammo is in very short supply
AR's are getting back in stock
Its a good day to shoot oddball calibers.
Still having problems finding magazines
