Hi,

Marc at ISMI sent me one of his SS 18 pound springs that he said should fit my Kimber Compact. He was out of the flat assemblies at the time... but I didn't want to replace my normal guide rod as I have just gotten the whole gun back from Walter Birdsong with Black & Green T coating. I used ISMI spring in the mags also. I am still having a bit of a problem with some FTE's that I didn't have before the gun was finished Seems to happen on the second -to-last round... damnedest thing. But the springs are VERY different from the norm as far as power and they don't seem to lose height. I MAY have to cut another coil off this one... but the things are so frickin hard to cut!
