Maybe you just haven't found the right shotgun yet. Maybe try a Remington 870. I love mine. I didn't think I needed or wanted a shotgun. Then I read about yet another armed home invasion in the vicinity and changed my mind. I got an 870 Express that same day and I have to say I love the thing. I even got a second, longer barrel so I could go dove hunting with a friend. Like most of my guns I now wonder how I lived without my shotgun.
