M&P isn't a true double action, but I agree with your assessment. The m&p just didn't fit well.

When I said combat I meant it. I want a gun that will serve a purpose in a situation that is without rule of law. Some pretend it doesn't happen - but I've lived in it, and even though people are generally nice, police do not always come. In my situation there was lots of mud and dust and sweat, so I want something that's reliable.

I realize most guns by reputable makers are reliable. I said I'd update so I gave my two cents.
