The underlying philosophical question we should be answering (as a society) is does man need permission from the state to take responsibility for the defense of his own life. The answer to that is no. There is a philosophical flaw in society today. Too many people believe that man should live for the state and that man is not a soveriegn individual.

I don't know what I'd do in your position. If you get the CCW, it is your responsibility to be aware of the laws and comply with them. Just hope you don't run into that 1 out of ten or five or 50 cop that is raging anti.
