There is no need to stretch the .480 Ruger case. If you want bigger Freedom Arms makes a single action in .475 Linbaugh, and a conversion cylinder for .480 Ruger.

The reason for the shorter round is so that it could be chambered in a Super Blackhawk frame if I remeber correctly.
