I am personally very leery of ANY chemical brass cleaner. If you want to clean your brass, get a tumbler.

I suggest a Thumler's Model B tumbl;er, and then wash your brass with warm water and liquid Tide for 20-25 minutes. Quick, easy, uncomplicated, and very effective.

The vibratory tumblers work quite well also. While I prefer the rotary tumbler and washing, I wouldn't feel too put upon if all I had was a Lyman vibratory and corncob media. Both methods work well.
