Shot the Dragoon Today
I had limited time at the range today but did put two cylinder's full of lead balls down range from my new Uberti 1847 Whitneyville Hartford Dragoon. I used 50 grains of Pyrodex P. It shot high like all of them do but the groups were reasonable for the first time. The loading lever did drop three times which I guess is why Colt changed the design in the First Dragoon.
