I am back to bother you again

Experts,

Picked up an 1851 Navy (.36) Sheriff's model at the gun show yesterday and the only Manuf. mark I can find is "C.O.M." and am trying to determine who made this pistol.

I have looked at the various manufacturer identification data and have had no success.

To be specific, the pistol has an octagon barrel, five inches in length. (Just like an 1851 Colt in Navy caliber with a five inch barrel.) Markings include the various government proof marks from all Italian manufacturers. It was made in 1977 and marked "Cal. 36 NAVY MODEL Made in Italy"

On the bottom of the barrel under the loading lever it is marked "C.O.M"

It is a brass frame, blued steel, barrel and cylinder, brass back strap and trigger guard.

Can anyone tell me what manufacturer is denoted by the C.O.M.?
