Just got off the phone from the gunsmith Marlin recommended, he said there is a difference in the firing pins. I should have known the phone jokey at Marlin didn't know what he was talking about. Lol
Anyways, I told him my problem. His words were "Good luck!" He said he goes through this problem at least once a week. You'd think if there are that many people looking for "pre 1974" firing pins, that someone would come forward and offer a solution.
