Talk about penetration, yesterday I read in our local paper where one of our young hunters, (only lives 7 miles from me), was finally unloading his 30-30 but he did it in his living room. The bullet went through his living room wall, across the street, through the neighbors door, out the kitchen wall of that house and lodged in the garage door of his neighbor. 2 houses and 3 properties. It may be awhile before he shoots again. Minimal damage done and nobody injured but it was to close to home, a lot of kids on that street but fortunately they were in school then. It could have been a lot worse.
