Try to shoot 300 rounds through your P7 without wearing gloves!! Physics note: the powder gases are hot. They are fed back to run the pistol. True enough, but don't forget that metal is a excellent conductor of heat. Polymer isn't!! But, just for the record, my P5 (which is a better pistol than the P7 anyway) has the same problem!!!
