Derekadavis, I'm what they call a "transactional" attorney and mostly work in Oil and Gas; but I am familiar with firearms laws from working as a research assistant on one of the Heller briefs and a lifetime interest in firearms laws.
If you were looking for someone to represent you in the aftermath of a shooting, I would probably not be the ideal choice. On the plus side, I am just out of law school myself, so my knowledge wouldn't be too much worse since it is basically at the starting level
