If I do not have a shot, I would OC the suspect and respond accordingly. If I do have a shot, depending on the urgency, I would either verbally order him away from the guard and hold him, on the ground, at gunpoint (from a safe distance away) and call 911, or I would shoot him until he is no longer a threat and then call 911.
