I had both the 29 and 30 at one point, now I have neither and this thread is really making me regret that.
The 30 was such a mellow 45. Compared to revolver shooting the same round, the recoil was very soft. Great accuracy too. Someday I hope to replace it.
I also had a KKM .40 conversion barrel for the 29, that was a sweet shootin' set up.
