I have 2 M&P's that are flat tops similar to yours, only mine just have the rear rail, not the full length. I put YHM flip up irons, and an Eotech 512 on one. The other has some generic irons for now.

There are tons of good aftermarket stuff, just search around and you'll start to develop a game plan. I prefer to keep it simple. I'm not really into all the doo-dads and stuff. My ar with the Eotech is already starting to feel a bit heavy and I'm still wanting some kind of vertical foregrip. After that I'm going to upgrade the trigger, and I'll probably be done.

If accessories are your thing, the platform is wiothout rival. Just figure out what kind of shooting you want to do and what purpose the rifle will serve, then buy the appropriate "lego's".
